Most of these posts are related to confusion concerning the process used to connect to the servers. Please follow the instructions listed below: A) Connecting to the Terminal Server 1) Use the Remote Desktop Connection client to connect to remoteapp001.maximumasp.com 2) When prompted for a username password, use the username (should be like MAXIMUMASPLOCAL\SQL2008BetaABC123, where ABC and 123 vary for each user) and password provided in the welcome letter. In addition, if you would like to share your clipboard or disk drives, make sure to check these options prior to connecting. 4) If prompted with a message regarding a mismatched certificate, click OK. 5) If prompted with any other miscellaneous windows, click Yes/OK/Continue/etc. At this point you are ready to connect to the SQL Server using SQLStudio B) Connecting to the SQL Server 1) Double-click on the SQLStudio icon. Wait for the initial profile to load. 2) When the Connect to Server dialog appears, make sure you are trying to connect to the Database Engine. 3) Enter the servername provided in the welcome letter. It will be similar to sqlXX.sqlserverbeta.com, where XX will vary.) 4) Use Windows Authentication. SQL Authentication will not work! 5) Click Connect. If you have problems connecting, please do NOT post on the forums. Instead, please contact us directly at info@sqlserverbeta.com. Troubleshooting most problems requires that we have a copy of the welcome letter you are using, and we don't want those items posted in the forums. Thanks for your help!
