exuse me i didn't mean like that.

but in over 80% thats the reason for this error. and if there is a big run to try sql 2008 why should not have a license or connect-limitation?

I just got my email that the account is setup, however I am having the same problem, that the Terminal Services License Server is not available to issue a license.

All,

We're currently working on the issue. The issue we're experiencing is related to the way that TS licensing is handled in the current Release Candidate. We have received new bits and licenses from Microsoft, and will have a new TS server up shortly.

will we recieve the new server name and location. I currently am connected right now!!! thx btw

but am having trouble connecting to the database i was emailed here is the error

also it says i am unable to connect remotely to sql server any suggestions

i use sql login and password provided

i have tried on the connection properties

named pipes, tcp/ip/shared memory/ default/

the server type i use is the database engine

sql server authentication

and both server names from the email

yes i have the database name in the connection properties tab set to my database in the email.

Help!!!!!  I'm getting closer to connecting, but just not close enough
